Once the village bake-house, the Fountain Lodge has found new life after recently being renovated to provide good quality hostel accommodation at affordable prices.

The lodge is available for groups of 8 to 32 people, and we welcome school parties, clubs, families, or just organised groups of friends looking for a budget holiday, without having to resort to poor quality accommodation.

Full-size bunk beds are provided in dormitories accommodating 2,3,4,9 and 12 people. If required, prior arrangements can also be made to accommodate two, less able, guests at the Fountain Inn.

Mattresses and pillows are provided, but sleeping bags and towels should be brought with you. Alternatively "bed-kits" can be rented for a small fee.

Downstairs are full self-catering facilities, including utensils, microwaves, fridges, freezers and stoves. Adjoining this is a dining area and lounge, with television. A large barbecue and outdoor seating area are also available.
Alternatively meals, including breakfast, are available from the Fountain Inn. Central heating and double-glazing throughout makes this an ideal base any time of year.
